Our Classic teams actively participate in the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) League, a premier soccer league featuring four distinct divisions: Premier, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The placement of teams within these divisions adheres to the NCYSA promotion and relegation guidelines, ensuring a competitive and developmentally appropriate experience for all players.

CLASSIC PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

• Age Groups: Specifically designed for players in the 2006 – 2014 age groups.

• Player Evaluation: A mandatory evaluation process ensures each player is placed in a developmentally appropriate team.

• NCYSA League Placement: Teams are strategically placed in Division 1, 2, or 3 of the NCYSA League, optimizing player and team development while fostering healthy competition.

• Training: Enjoy high-quality training sessions twice a week, led by our experienced coaching staff.

• League Games: Engage in 7-10 league games per season, providing ample opportunities for skill refinement and team cohesion.

• Tournaments: Participate in two tournaments per season, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition to the soccer experience.

PROGRAM FEES:

Include all of the following: administration, operating system, fields/facility maintenance, referee assignor fees, communication, insurance, training equipment, NCYSA dues, player cards, background checks, registrars, intent to play fees, coaching education, parent education, individual player development tools, referee fees, and tournament fees.  Program fees are all inclusive except for the uniform and personal travel expenses.  

UNIFORM POLICY:

The program fees do not cover the cost of uniforms. Returning players are exempt from purchasing a new uniform. However, new players entering the competitive program or joining SSYSA for the first time during their initial classic season are required to acquire new uniforms. The uniform cost is $130. This cost includes customized home and away jerseys.

It's worth noting that unlike other clubs, we do not adhere to uniform cycles. Your uniform remains valid until you outgrow it or determine the need for a replacement. This approach ensures flexibility and cost-effectiveness for our players.
